After the examination and response to the office action ones the “mark” is accepted the same will be published in the Trademark journal for a period of 120 days. During this publication period any third party who feels his rights is being infringed can oppose the mark. An opposition can be filed before the registrar stating the reasons for which the mark is being opposed. The applicant whose mark is been opposed has to file a counter denying the statement within 2 months of which the mark is opposed.
